This week’s photo challenge theme at the Daily Post is “A Day in My Life“.
For the time being, a day in my life is quite unremarkable. I get up at 6, have pu-erh tea, prepare a healthy breakfast, and do the chores (washing, cleaning, cooking, etc.). By 9 o’clock I have all my work done and then I am free to do whatever I want. So, I spend my time reading books, listening to the radio, surfing the net, studying French, working out, looking after Golden Tips, photographing the deer, meditating and trying to decide what I will do next. And then at around 10 in the evening I go to sleep and wake up after 8 hours and the cycle begins again.
However, life without serious commitments cannot last forever and eventually, I will have to get serious and find a job. For now, here are some photos that show a “A Day in My Life“.

Yes, I just add hot water to the pressed tea leaves.

At least it’s finally starting to thaw out in the cold north, Lori. The blueberry quinoa looks delicious and that camera looks a little intimidating. Did you get a new one? And I want that book about Feng Shui. Maybe that would help me solve the dilemmas of my life. Enjoy this time before you get a job. It sounds quite lovely!! 🙂
I have had the camera for about a year but I rarely use it – too advanced for me. Easier to use my little point and shoot camera. The book is great! Using it to arrange my place so that I can find a job…

I still haven’t read the manual on my Olympus PEN, and I bought it in November of 2010!! I could probably take much better pictures if I actually learned how to use it!
