Weekly Photo Challenge: Changing Seasons

This week’s photo challenge at the Daily Post is changing seasons.  Normally by the first week of December in Eastern Canada we have plenty of snow on the ground to remind us that winter has arrived. Not so this year, we have had some light snow come and go but none has stayed. Thus, without snow on the ground, it feels as if fall is hanging on just a bit longer. So, here is a photo of what my backyard looks like at the moment – dead frozen land waiting for the first real winter snow.

  1. What a beautiful shot! We would often have snow staying on the ground by now too (always when I was a kid). This week we have had days that were 40-50sF (5-14C) so any snow that has fallen has melted off.
