Hiking at Wadi Al Safel

Part of the joy of living in a foreign country is the chance to experience new places. Lately, I have been so busy with work and training that I sometimes forget to relax and do something for enjoyment. So, last weekend instead of my scheduled cross training I took a day off and headed to Wadi Al Safel for hiking with some friends.  The weather by mid-afternoon was quite warm but we managed to walk for about an hour. It was a relaxing change of pace and an enjoyable outing with my friends Pia, Eleanor and a new Omani friend we met on the way to the wadi. Below is a slideshow of our short hike in Wadi Al Safel.
