Weekly Photo Challenge: Celebration

Just before Christmas last year I went for a walk in Chengdu, China and snapped this photo on a street getting ready to celebrate Christmas.

Christmas celebrations in Chengdu, China.

On July 1 Canadians celebrate Canada Day but most  provinces celebrate their  special day on August 1st. The next two photos show people celebrating New Brunswick Day in in Chipman, Canada.

  2. I have dual nationality Canada/UK and always enjoyed Canada Day. In Edmonton they used to do Klondike Days which was a celebration of the gold rush era. That was great fun although I was pretty young at the time I still have the special minted Klondike Dollars they produced each year.

I think these festivals are great. Great idea to post your ‘photo challenge’
    keep on running!
