Weekly Photo Challenge: Waiting

Last April I traveled to Shinas, Oman with a group of colleagues from my college to attend  a workshop on motivation.  The day involved a lot of waiting. First of all, we had to wait for one of our colleagues before even  heading to Shinas. This meant we were off to a late start. No need to worry – things do not always start on time in this part of the world. Although we arrived  late and registered late we had to wait about 15 minutes for the keynote speaker to give the opening remarks.

After a long day of workshops we headed home. Well, of course this involved some more waiting as a couple of my colleagues were not at the meeting point.  We waited again. Then someone wanted to stop in Sohar for some quick shopping – 20 minute shopping break meant more waiting.

On the way home the waiting really began. We encountered a wadi on the way home to Ibri. We waited for hours for the road to reopen.  Below are some photos that mean waiting for me.
